Arthrosis

Arthrosis is a chronic disease of the joints – a degenerative illness with a progressive and non-curable loss of articular cartilage, resulting in painful and impaired mobility. Even younger patients can develop arthrosis after improper or excessive stress (e.g. sporting accidents). The symptoms of arthrosis are the loss of articular cartilage, the development of condensed bone underneath the cartilage, cysts and distortion. (See: arthritis).
